Crafty Hands Club Founding Subscription
I have been waiting all year to make this one.
October's envelope is a full Halloween kit, built the same way everything in the Crafty Hands Club kit gets built: by hand, one piece at a time, with nothing generated and nothing bought off a shelf. You are not just getting supplies. You are getting a whole afternoon of making something, and a few things worth keeping after October ends.
What's inside:
Stickers
One sheet, seven original designs, drawn for this month and this month only. Stick them in a journal, on a letter, on the back of your bathroom mirror. Wherever you need a little Halloween.
The vellum page
A decorated vellum sheet, translucent and detailed, the kind of piece that looks like nothing until it is layered over something else. Use it as an overlay, a window, or just hold it up to the light.
The pumpkin
A hand-drawn pumpkin coloring page, and a challenge to go with it: give it a face. Not just color it in, draw on it. It sounds simple until you try it, and that is the point. Drawing a face onto a curved, uneven shape is a real skill, the same one you need for anything with form and perspective, and this is the easiest, most forgiving way to practice it.
The coffin
Two templates, a top and a bottom, that fold and fit together into a small 3D paper coffin. No glue gun, no cutting machine required, just careful hands and a few folds.
The lily
One paper lily template, made to sit inside the coffin once it is built. Small, a little eerie, a little beautiful. That is basically the whole aesthetic of this brand in one flower.
My art print
A print of one of my original oil paintings, made just for this month's club. Frame it, pin it up, or tuck it somewhere you will actually see it.
How it all fits
Everything in this month's envelope was designed to travel well. The whole kit fits inside a single A7 envelope, and templates are sized at 5x7, the kit is ready to color and assemble.
One more thing
Buy the kit and the printable digital version of everything inside it, the stickers, the vellum, the pumpkin, the coffin, the lily, the art print, comes with it. Free. Print extras, reprint the pumpkin if the first face didn't work out, whatever you want.
This is a box of things to make, give, and keep. I hope you enjoy it!
